Job Overview

The Relief Pharmacist is an integral part of our pharmacy team, working under the general guidance of the Pharmacy Manager to assist in the overall operation of the site pharmacy.

As a contemporary patient-centric retail pharmacist, you will provide high-quality professional care to customers by taking the time to speak with them and establish their trust. You will be part of a family-owned company that has been dedicated to infusing customers' lives with health and happiness for over 80 years.

Apply your clinical skills in immunizations, medication therapy management, and travel health at selected locations. Practice with generous staffing, including overlapping pharmacist shifts at most locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operation of assigned pharmacies to provide exceptional customer service and efficiency in processing prescriptions.
  • Monitor patients to ensure therapeutic outcomes and minimize adverse drug effects.
  • Consult with patients in a professional manner to ensure understanding of drug therapy plans and outcomes.
  • Help ensure location compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and policies.
  • Participate in developing open communications between store staff and pharmacy department to improve morale, awareness of company programs, and support of company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • PharmD degree required (B.S. or PharmD).
  • Licensed pharmacist in the state where working.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High degree of initiative and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with ability to complete work with minimal supervision under rigid time constraints.
  • Customer relations skills including meeting customer needs and establishing an exceptional service environment.
  • Sound business ethics.
  • Working knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, and Word.
