Senior Tax Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Professional to join our Corporate Tax Division. This role will play a key part in managing complex corporate tax matters while leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes.

  • Manage and review corporate income tax compliance, including income tax returns and tax consolidations.
  • Oversee and review Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) compliance, including return preparation and ad hoc advisory work.
  • Provide expert tax advisory on corporate restructures, international tax matters, and employee share schemes.
  • Review tax effect accounting calculations and prepare tax notes for listed and large private clients.
  • Lead client engagements and coordinate teams to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
About the Role

This opportunity will suit someone with Big 4 or Mid-tier experience in corporate tax looking to advance their career and take ownership of a team and ledger. You will work closely with Partners and senior leadership to ensure the delivery of corporate tax compliance, tax effect accounting, and broader tax advisory services.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. They will be committed to delivering exceptional client service and building trusted relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CA or CPA qualification with at least 7 years of experience in corporate tax within a professional services environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Australian corporate tax legislation, ATO guidance, and international tax developments.
  • Experience with FBT, tax effect accounting under AASB 112, tax notes, employee share schemes, and cross-border tax planning.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate stakeholders.
