Job Description

We are seeking a senior corporate tax professional to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Tax Division, you will be responsible for managing complex corporate tax matters and leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client engagements and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of corporate tax compliance, tax effect accounting and tax notes
  • Facilitating the Fringe Benefits Tax program for clients and providing guidance on employee share schemes
  • Supporting international clients with skills in Australia's international tax framework and providing broader tax advisory services
  • Managing client portfolios, including listed companies, large private groups, government entities, and multinational corporations

The ideal candidate will have similar Big 4 or mid-tier experience in corporate tax, excellent technical and leadership skills, and a strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Commerce or Business
  • Completion of CA or CPA qualification
  • At least 4+ years of experience in corporate tax within a professional services environment
  • Strong technical knowledge and interest in learning to keep up-to-date with Australian corporate tax legislation and international tax developments
  • Experience with FBT, tax effect accounting under AASB 112, tax notes, employee share schemes, and cross-border tax planning
