Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Maintenance Technician to join our team at Exact Contracting in South Australia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our mobile plant equipment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in diesel mechanics, with experience in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs of heavy equipment. You will work on a variety of projects, including civil projects based at Olympic Dam and Carrapateena, and will be responsible for maintaining the company's fleet of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing, diagnostics, and repairs of heavy equipment
  • Maintenance of company-owned mobile plant equipment
  • Workshop-based duties and infield breakdowns
  • Collaboration with the maintenance team to ensure efficient equipment operation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (AQF Certificate IV or AQF Certificate III)
  • At least two years of relevant experience in maintaining road transport and earth-moving equipment
  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance with site requirements
  • Dedication to learning and high-quality work
What We Offer

  • Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
