Artificial Intelligence Research Officer - RISE4SkinCancer

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a research-only academic, conducting cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence for skin cancer diagnosis.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on the RISE4SkinCancer project, aiming to enhance care integration and improve skin cancer diagnosis and management in the Loddon Mallee Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct innovative research in AI applications for skin cancer diagnosis
  • Develop research expertise and contribute to team research projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in AI, computer science, or a relevant discipline
  • Research and evaluation experience with the ability to work independently
  • Publication record or contributions demonstrating research potential
  • Effective communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of AI applications in healthcare
