Job Overview:

La Trobe University is seeking a skilled researcher to fill the role of Artificial Intelligence Research Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to research projects related to Artificial Intelligence in the diagnosis of skin cancers.

This position involves collaborating with the Australian Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Medical Innovation and working on a solution-focused approach to integrating care for patients with skin cancer. The goal of this project is to improve the diagnosis and management of skin cancer in the Loddon Mallee Region by developing and testing a model that enhances primary care capacity and access to care.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a strong educational background in AI or computer science, as well as relevant research experience and skills. They should also possess effective communication and teamwork abilities, and a demonstrated understanding of AI in healthcare.

The selected candidate will work closely with a team to contribute to publications, conference papers, and reports related to the project. They will also be responsible for interacting effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and working collaboratively in a cooperative environment.
