Job Title: Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our team. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing engineering and design aspects of projects.

  • Manage conceptual design, feasibility studies and detailed engineering for various disciplines.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and designers.
  • Be responsible for quality approval and sign-off of project's engineering and design.

You will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes and deliver customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, with a focus on safety, technical quality, client satisfaction and project health.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Managing budget, schedule, resources and quality of the deliverables.
  • Collaborating with internal Functional Managers and managing external stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards and company policies.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
  • Extensive experience with discipline engineering design, with proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience including managing budget, schedule, resources and quality of the deliverables.
