Electrical Design Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in earthing and bonding to lead our electrical engineering team.

Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to drive the design and delivery of electrical systems across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical earthing and bonding system designs
  • Provide technical guidance on installation, maintenance, and design best practices
  • Perform calculations and site testing (e.g., fall of potential, current injection, soil resistivity)
  • Prepare high-quality technical documentation and recommend system improvements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients to deliver project outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • CPEng accreditation (or eligible to apply)
  • MTM Designer/Checker competency advantageous
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in electrical design and engineering
  • Proficient in CDEGS and electrical design software
  • Strong understanding of sector standards and electrical safety principles
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
