We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Analyst to join our Electricity Transmission team on a permanent full-time basis.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of opportunities within the Electricity Transmission Business unit, supporting the execution of transactions and competitive tenders, and developing APA's transmission network service capability to ensure the safe and reliable operation of potential APA Electricity Transmission assets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of group policies, procedures, and platforms to support the establishment of a full capability transmission network business.
  2. Research and analyze technologies, processes, systems, and ways of doing things to support the development of innovative bid-winning tenders and a future-focused business capability.
  3. Support the development of ISO 55001 asset management processes, risk frameworks, and modeling to optimize full asset life cycle efficiency and investment.
  4. Conduct due diligence on development/investment opportunities, including working with external advisers.
  5. Identify, assess, and monitor key transaction risks/opportunities and mitigation strategies.
  6. Prepare and coordinate transaction documentation and Steering/Investment Committee papers and presentations.
Your Background
  1. Demonstrated experience in working with effective operational policies, procedures, and frameworks, including continuous improvement initiatives.
  2. Experience with ISO 55001 asset management frameworks and/or network operations in the electricity industry is preferred.
  3. Experience working within strong and effective governance processes is desired.
  4. Experience participating in competitive procurement processes is valuable.
  5. Demonstrated experience working across functional workstreams.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and effectively to audiences.
