We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our SMSF Specialist Team in Melbourne, providing support for clients managing their compliance and advisory in relation to their Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the workflow of a specific SMSF portfolio, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Proactively liaise with clients, external auditors, ATO, and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional outcomes and quality of work.
  • Provide technical advice to clients on superannuation and taxation rules.
  • Further develop your technical expertise working across services including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work.
  • Develop into a mentor to assist other team members and encourage their continued professional development.
  • Effective management of billing and internal risk procedures.

About You:

You are passionate about delivering high-quality results and possess excellent communication skills. You have a proactive attitude towards accuracy and deadlines, with a strong collaborative spirit and excellent time management skills.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in SMSF or a related field in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Strong collaborative skills, a dedicated work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for ongoing learning and professional development.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
