Mechanical Equipment Technician

We are seeking a motivated and experienced maintenance professional to perform preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on fixed plant equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of equipment and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment failure
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant safety procedures and regulations
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and have a strong focus on delivering quality results. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be willing to undergo training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Relevant trade qualification or experience in maintenance fitter role
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Physical fitness to perform manual labor tasks
