Data Centre Security Professional

The role of Project Security Officer is critical in ensuring the physical security of our data centre. As a key member of the project team, you will assist in managing site-based security operations to meet client requirements and the project security plan.
You will be responsible for maintaining daily communication with regional security managers, data centre security managers, client security representatives, certifying authorities, and other relevant personnel.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive security oversight throughout the construction phase, ensuring the delivery of fit-for-purpose and certifiable facilities through attendance at security assurance hold and witness point inspections.
- Collate security assurance reports to the AWS Security Assurance Team, documenting and tracking security-related issues and incidents.
- Manage, respond, and record any security issues or incidents occurring throughout the construction phase as per the Security Response Plan.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with project security requirements, proactively identifying potential security risks and implementing mitigation strategies throughout the construction phase.
- Facilitate meetings with clients, resolve issues, and report on matters relating to security compliance.
- Bring a high level of attention to detail and a meticulous, process-driven approach.
- 2+ years' experience working in a Physical Security Operations position.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Physical Security best practices which includes the application of Physical Security Systems, Investigation Techniques, and Security Incident Management.
- Demonstrable experience managing Security Operations in complex environments.
- Experience working in a high-security environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- Driven to provide internal and external customers with responsive and unparalleled support, dedicated to meeting customer expectations.
- Will to step outside the box and take ownership of projects and domains not within expertise.
