Medication Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents.

Job Description:

Administer medications: You will be responsible for accurately administering medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and state guidelines.

Monitor resident responses: You will closely monitor residents for responses to medications and report any concerns to the nursing staff.

Daily living activities: You will assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.

Documentation: You will accurately document medication administration and care activities.

Individualized care plans: You will work collaboratively with nurses and caregivers to support individualized care plans.

Environment maintenance: You will help maintain a clean, safe, and uplifting environment for residents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program
  • Current MA-C and STNA license in the State of Ohio
  • Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or memory care (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A warm, patient, and resident-first mindset
