Job Opportunity:

The Learning and Development Lead is responsible for providing operational learning and organisational development expertise, support, and services to line managers and employees.

This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining a range of learning and organisational development initiatives, including leadership development programmes, tailored training programs, online learning, customer service initiatives, new supervisor training, refreshed induction programmes, talent and succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.

The incumbent will work closely with the business to develop a deep understanding of their needs, identifying areas of alignment, encouraging cross-functional collaboration, and delivering organisational capability and elevating the Employee Value Proposition.

Key accountabilities include delivering L&D strategy, partnering with the business, removing complexity, improving efficiency, creating operational consistency, designing and delivering new organisational capability and development products, and ensuring the organisation remains a leader in its investment in people.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver L&D strategy in conjunction with the General Manager, People and Culture

- Partner with the business to develop a deep understanding of their respective needs

- Remove complexity, improve efficiency, and create operational consistency across the business

- Design and deliver new organisational capability and development products

- Provide organisational capability and development support for employees and functional leaders

- Ensure the organisation remains a leader in its investment in its people

- Provide professional knowledge and L&D advice and support on all L&D matters

- Work with line managers to build tailored development plans for staff

- Complete training needs analysis as required

- Plan, research, and provide training and development solutions in line with business requirements

Requirements:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field preferred

- Experience in Learning and Development (both strategic and operational)

- Experience in delivery of training

- Experience in developing L&D content

- Demonstrated HR skills of a generalist nature

- A strong continuous improvement mindset

- High level attention to detail - strong task completion and willingness to complete administrative tasks
