Water Infrastructure Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Planning Graduate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of engineering and water management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including experience with project planning, site assessments, and technical documentation. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicating complex ideas to stakeholders.
In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will demonstrate passion for learning and problem-solving, as well as strong written and oral communication skills. A good level of computer literacy is also essential.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Design: Participate in the planning phase of projects, including feasibility studies, hydraulic capacity assessments, and infrastructure augmentation optioneering.
- Site Assessments: Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility/constraints. Analyze environmental, geological, cultural heritage, and survey data to inform project planning.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project approvals. Ensure project documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration with other Disciplines: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, environmental, structural, geotechnical, and process engineers. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Currently in the final year of your degree or with 1-2 years of experience.
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Able to work effectively in a team.
- Passion for learning and problem-solving.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A good level of computer literacy, including MS Word and Excel.
- Eligible to work in Australia.
