We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to launch and grow Sports Direct in ANZ.
- Utilise your knowledge of the ANZ sports landscape to inform marketing plans, local activations, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
- Manage the integrated marketing calendar, aligning with retail events, sports seasons, and product launches.
- Optimise campaigns, automate workflows, and improve ROI using AI tools, performance data, and digital insights.
- Activate local area marketing initiatives that connect stores with their communities, from grassroots events to ambassador programs.
- Oversee the production of on-brand content for use across various channels.
- Lead the go-to-market and grand opening strategies for each new store.
- 8–10+ years of experience in brand, retail, or digital marketing, ideally in sports, lifestyle, or omnichannel retail.
- A deep understanding of the Australia & New Zealand sports ecosystem, including key sports, leagues, events, and audiences.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong digital marketing skills, with exposure to AI tools, automation, and performance analytics.
- Strategic thinker with a strong bias for action and delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
