  • This is a Project Manager role responsible for ensuring a smooth transition from project to steady-state operation and service of the Material Handling System.
">

You will manage the process of change of ownership in a complex Automated Material Handling System (MHS) delivered by Vanderlande. Your focus is on operational readiness within our segment, responsible for management of the transition phase and set-up of complex service contracts at sites around the world.

">Your Role">

As a Project Manager Operational Readiness, your responsibilities include:

  1. ">
  2. Consulting, assessing, and taking over the service contract to be sold by the Service Account Manager, identifying risks and opportunities.">
  3. Setting up and executing a transition plan with the customer and project team, mitigating transition risks.">
  4. End-to-end management of the transition of complex solutions into stable operations (Solution-, Service-, Customer-readiness).">
  5. Managing the service contract to ensure contract execution based on agreed performance until steady-state operations, handing over the service contract to the Service Contract Manager.">
  6. Executing the transition plan within budget and planning in coordination with the customer, project, and service.">
  7. Serving as the primary contact person towards the customer(s) up to board level for all issues during the transition phase; managing customer expectations.">
  8. Developing and further professionalizing the setup of site-based service teams.">

Key skills required for this role include:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant technical area.">
  • Relevant project, integration, and stakeholder management experience (at least 3 years) within an international environment, working with different cultures.">
  • Outstanding planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.">
  • A team player who will work well in a cross-functional team environment.">
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management processes (ITIL) is preferred.">
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English.">
  • Willingness to travel worldwide (40-50%).">
