Job Description:

This role involves leading a team of Youth Engagement Officers in guiding young people towards positive mental health, community belonging, and skills development. The successful candidate will partner with the First Nations Engagement Team to develop and implement programs that foster youth engagement and support.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in leading teams, working within the youth sector, and developing programs for young people. They will have a strong understanding of First Nations culture and be able to build relationships within a community setting.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Diploma of Youth Work or related qualification
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising teams
  • Demonstrated experience working within the youth sector
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, delivering, and leading programs and activities for young people

About the Role:

This is a temporary (3-year) part-time position with a total salary package of $93,852 p.a. ($79,741 - $84,552 + 11% super). You will work 0.8FTE, which includes roster management, record keeping, and youth activity programming.
