Project Coordinator

As a key member of our project team, the Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our building projects. This involves assisting the Project Manager with strategic planning and coordination, as well as representing the Onsite Supervisor/Superintendent.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Project Manager in project planning, coordination, and delivery to ensure timely completion.
  • Act as the representative for the Onsite Supervisor/Superintendent on Council's building projects, providing liaison services between stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules, and milestones.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Carpentry), a Building Contractor's Licence, or equivalent construction industry certifications.
  • Be able to read, understand, and implement construction drawings, details, and specifications.
  • Demonstrate personal drive, willingness to assist others, and a proven track record of working within a collaborative team environment.
  • Exhibit sound communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Hold a current Construction Induction White Card or be willing to acquire one prior to commencement.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety practices in the workplace.
  • Possess a current Class C Drivers' Licence.
