Project Coordinator Job Description

The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in the project delivery team, ensuring a seamless execution of major building projects. The role assists the Project Manager with planning and delivery of all projects, including Civil and Infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include acting as Onsite Supervisor / Superintendent's Representative for Council's building projects, contributing to planning and delivery, and ensuring a quality, well-constructed product.

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Building Trade Qualifications (Carpentry), Building Contractor's Licence or relevant building construction qualifications (Certificate IV) and/or equivalent qualification and/or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Key Skills:
  • Ability to read, understand, and implement construction drawings, details, and specifications.
  • Sound communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possession of a Construction Induction White (or ability to acquire prior to commencement).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety responsibilities in the workplace.
