Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic veterinary nurse to join our emergency and critical care team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to branch out into referral or experience the dynamic world of ECC.
The ideal candidate will have experience in general practice nursing and be eager to learn and adapt to new situations. They will work closely with our experienced team of nurses and vets, including specialists in ECC, to provide high-quality patient care.
As a member of our ECC team, you will have the opportunity to work in various roles, including ICU and hospital nursing, support roles, and triage and patient stabilization. You will be able to work in areas that suit your skills and capabilities and may receive additional training and guidance as needed.
We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who have a preference or availability to work swing or OOH shifts. The Emergency & Critical Care department is open 24 hours, 365 days a year, including public holidays. We offer a supportive environment where you can grow and develop your skills and knowledge.
Requirements include qualifications as a veterinary nurse, minimum Certificate IV or equivalent, and at least 2 years' experience in the veterinary industry as a nurse. Exceptional organization and communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, and a positive attitude are also essential.
