Healthcare Professionals Sought for Disability Facilitation Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Disability Inclusion Facilitator.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities and their families.

As a Disability Inclusion Facilitator, you will work closely with schools and educational institutions to provide disability inclusion support and facilitate inclusive education practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on disability inclusion and accessibility in educational settings;
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents to develop and implement inclusive education plans;
  • Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for educators and support staff;
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for promoting inclusion;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and services to ensure effective collaboration and referral pathways;
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in a relevant field such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, or psychology;
  • Current registration with AHPRA/SPA;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in education or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities;
  • Valid Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle.
