Job Title:

Experienced Home Care Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced home care support worker to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will provide domestic assistance and personal care services to clients in their homes.

This is a permanent part-time or casual contract opportunity with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

Domestic Assistance:

  • Providing cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation services for clients
  • Assisting with household tasks such as grocery shopping and cooking

Personal Care Services:

  • Providing showering, toileting, and assistance with medications for clients
  • Assisting with transportation for clients

Social Supports:

  • Providing companionship and social interaction for clients
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current Australian Drivers Licence with your own car
  • 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
  • Availability to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday (2 weekends a month required)

  • 20-40 hours per fortnight + flex up hours
  • $32.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
