The Support Coordinator connects NDIS participants with community supports and services. Their main goal is to support and assist within Australia's NDIS participant's abilities to connect to and coordinate informal, community and funded supports.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Develop strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Develop oral and written communication skills including problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Commit to delivering high-quality participant services while maintaining WHS principles, cultural diversity and equal employment opportunity
- Understand and respond to the changing and diverse needs of home care participants
- Work independently and autonomously

**Desirable Qualifications**

Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Service Coordination, Case Management or Allied Health are desirable.

**Essential Knowledge**

The Support Coordinator must understand relevant legislative requirements including:

NDIS Code of Conduct,
NDIS Legislation,
NDIS,
Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA),
Equal Opportunity Principles and Practices.

**Key Abilities/Aptitudes/Skills**

They should demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills, commit to quality service delivery and maintain organisational ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.

**Mandatory Requirements**

Current Australian Drivers Licence, NDIS Worker Check and NDIS Working with Children Screening are necessary.
