Outdoor Education Trainer

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Outdoor Education Trainer to join our team. The successful applicant will have a strong background in outdoor leadership, training, and assessment.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful setting, developing and implementing training programs for staff and students. If you are passionate about outdoor education and have a desire to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

The Outdoor Education Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring that all activities are safe and effective. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement training plans, activity Standard Operating Procedures, and Risk Assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training plans, activity Standard Operating Procedures, and Risk Assessments.
  • Design and deliver training programs for staff and students.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure that all activities are safe and effective.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
  • Current manual driver's license and Senior First Aid certificate.
  • Blue Card.
  • Able to perform physically and mentally challenging tasks.
  • Willingness to live and work in a small Christian community.
