Research & Engagement Specialist

About the Role:

This position plays a key part in delivering high-impact research and stakeholder engagement that enhances the performance and visibility of sustainable and impact investments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced analytical frameworks to assess ESG, sustainability, and impact factors for securities including stocks and bonds.
  • Conduct research to support the use of positive and negative screening in investment products.
  • Support and participate in thematic research programs.
  • Support the engagement program through research, coordination of meetings and reporting on engagement activities with issuers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support their ESG, sustainability, and impact goals.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in environment, sustainability, or social policy are highly regarded.
  • 2-3 years of experience with sustainability or ESG-related issues.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including writing and presentation skills.
  • Organisational and information management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of investment markets is preferred.
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for driving positive change.
