Weekend Chef
OverviewThis is a part-time position where you will prepare and present food for residents. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present food according to menu specifications
- Maintain a clean working environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Support bulk cooking operations, working efficiently to meet deadlines
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting positively with residents and staff
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an aged care setting
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
