Key Highlights

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Trading Technology Team. As an Application Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trading systems across the Asia Pacific region.

  • Perform daily monitoring and market pre-open system checks utilizing automation where possible
  • Assist end-users (traders) with system troubleshooting and training for new system functionality
  • Build and use automation tools/scripting to automate tasks ensuring overall system performance, reliability, and accuracy

Your technical skills will be put to the test as you work on scripting, Python, PowerShell, C# or other programming languages, with experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with a range of technical and non-technical staff.

Requirements
  • Computer Science degree or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years commercial experience in Financial Industry, particularly trading, market making, options, market data, OMS, and/or other related systems
  • Extensive knowledge of financial instruments and market data concepts across equities and derivatives
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff, as well as external brokers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
