About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team at St Kevin's College, a leading independent Catholic Boys' School committed to excellence in education.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate Speech Pathologist to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners. As a member of our team, you will provide speech pathology assessment and intervention services to students across the Early Learning Centre (ELC) to Year 12, supporting students with communication impairments to achieve their educational potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive therapy services to students, including individual and group support, tailored to meet their unique needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based speech pathology programs to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the school leadership team and staff to improve access and learning opportunities for students with communication impairments.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress, providing regular updates to parents and teachers.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Experience delivering comprehensive therapy services to students in an educational environment
  • Updated knowledge of the literature in the speech pathology profession
  • Ability to work independently, participate effectively in a team environment, and develop collaborative working relationships
