About the Role

Fulham Correctional Centre is seeking experienced clinicians to join its multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive quality clinical services to prisoners. The successful candidate will conduct screening and assessments for Alcohol and Other Drug Offending Behaviours, as well as group-based facilitation of Remand, Health Stream, and Offending Behaviours Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for prisoners
  • Facilitate group-based programs, including Remand, Health Stream, and Offending Behaviours Programs
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a correctional setting, with a strong understanding of the Victorian Criminal Justice System. They will be able to work collaboratively with other clinicians and support staff to deliver high-quality clinical services.

Requirements
  • Registered psychologist, social worker, or occupational therapist with experience working in a correctional setting
  • Knowledge of the 'What Works' literature in offender rehabilitation, including the Good Lives Model and Risk Need Responsivity
  • Experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based models
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other clinicians and support staff
