Role Overview:
Fulham Correctional Centre is seeking a skilled Professional Therapist to join their team. In this role, you will conduct assessments, group facilitation, and training in a fast-paced environment.
About the Opportunity:
As a Professional Therapist at Fulham Correctional Centre, you will be part of a comprehensive quality clinical services team that delivers screening and assessments, group-based facilitation, and training to prisoners. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in a range of complex presentations using a trauma-informed approach.
About You:
- You have knowledge of "What Works" literature and application of the Good Lives Model (GLM) and Risk Need Responsivity (RNR) in reducing recidivism.
- You have demonstrated experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other best-practice therapeutic frameworks.
- You have experience in clinical and/or risk assessments, individual and group intervention, with ability to efficiently prepare clinical formulations and reports.
- You are passionate about making a difference to the lives of people who may experience disadvantage.
- You have experience working collaboratively with others in a complex environment.
- You are able to embrace change and continuous improvement.
- You possess good communication and effective interpersonal skills.
- You have empathy and cultural awareness.
- You are resilient.
