Embedded Linux Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Linux Engineer to join our team.

  • Develop and maintain custom Linux distributions using Yocto or similar build systems.
  • Integrate and configure device drivers, bootloaders, and kernel modules for embedded platforms.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up new boards and debug low-level issues.
  • Optimize system performance, boot time, and resource usage for embedded environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Embedded Linux development, including kernel and user-space programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain custom Linux distributions using Yocto or similar build systems.
  2. Integrate and configure device drivers, bootloaders, and kernel modules for embedded platforms.
  3. Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up new boards and debug low-level issues.
  4. Optimize system performance, boot time, and resource usage for embedded environments.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in computer systems or software engineering, electronics engineering, or mechatronics engineering.
  • Strong experience with Embedded Linux development, including kernel and user-space programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Yocto Project, Buildroot, or similar embedded build systems.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
