Pricing Analyst Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced pricing analyst to join our Sales Operations team. Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated pricing strategies that drive revenue growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Pricing Strategy & Analysis: Develop and maintain pricing models for products/services, conduct comprehensive competitor pricing analysis, and monitor pricing performance.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Create and maintain pricing dashboards and KPI reports, perform statistical analysis on pricing data, and generate regular reports on pricing performance and revenue impact.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with sales teams, marketing, and finance to develop competitive pricing strategies, and support product management with go-to-market pricing recommendations.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing changes, research industry pricing trends, and analyze customer segmentation.
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine pricing methodologies, implement pricing automation, and mentor junior analysts.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business, mathematics, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or related analytical roles.
- Previous experience in pricing strategy or revenue management.
- Industry-specific experience relevant to the sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and statistical software (R, Python, SAS).
- Experience with supporting pricing within CPQ software.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
