Executive Assistant to Manager City Life

About the Opportunity
An exciting role has become available for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our dynamic and busy City Life team at Georges River Council.
The successful candidate will provide a high level of executive assistance to the Manager City Life and will be responsible for researching, preparing draft reports, minutes, diary and meeting management, word processing, and liaising with a wide range of internal staff and external parties.
This is an opportunity for someone who is highly organised and has the ability to build strong working relationships through effective communication and discretion in handling confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level executive assistance to the Manager City Life
- Research and prepare draft reports, minutes, and other documents
- Manage diaries and coordinate meetings
- Liaise with internal staff and external parties
- Handle confidential information with discretion
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Personal Assistant or similar role
- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills and experience
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and experience working effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated high-level diary and correspondence management skills and experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills and experience
- Demonstrated high-level skills and experience in delivering customer service
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems
Desirable Attributes
- Technical competence in using CM and Technology One systems relevant to local government
- Experience working in local government or community organisations
- Experience in project coordination
