**About the Opportunity**
Georges River Council is seeking a visionary strategic and corporate leader passionate about shaping the future of the Georges River area.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the delivery of marketing campaigns, management of media enquiries, enhancing community engagement, advocating to all levels of government on matters that affect Georges River Council and supporting our area’s economic development.
- Permanent, Full-Time
- TRP $230,446.76 - $265,048.93 gross per annum (depending on skills and experience)
- Access to Council leave entitlements, including 5 weeks annual leave, long service leave after 5 years, additional health and wellbeing leave and 3 additional grant days of paid leave over Christmas

**What We’re Looking For**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and extensive relevant experience.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, credible relationships and influence, persuade or negotiate outcomes that deliver public value.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with emphasis on developing corporate/business plans, advice, reports, communications, and media materials to suit diverse audience needs.
- Demonstrate ability to champion and delivery significant change initiatives.
- Expertise in overseeing complex projects from concept to completion, delivering results on time and within budget.
