Senior Civil Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Rockhampton. As a key member of our Transport Team, you will be responsible for leading general civil work, including road design and urban precinct planning projects for both government and private sector clients.
This exciting opportunity presents the chance to work on a wide variety of regionally significant transport and general civil planning and design projects, establishing and building existing client relationships, and leading people.
As part of a high-performing, close-knit regional team consisting of over 30 engineers, scientists, and designers, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with industry-renowned peers nationally across our organization to create whole-of-business success.
About the Role- Lead general civil work, including road design and urban precinct planning projects for both government and private sector clients.
- Act as Project Manager/Technical Lead on a range of projects, including participating in business development practices, proposal writing, bidding for civil infrastructure projects.
- Participate in Team Leader responsibilities across the local Transport Business, including managing, training, and mentoring junior team members to aid their professional development, financial reporting on projects.
- Actively participate in business and strategic planning activities for the team, collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with RPEQ and ideally 12+ years of experience for a consultancy, local Council, or State Government Department. A future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth within a global organization is desired.
A competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, is offered for this role.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with RPEQ.
- 12+ years of experience in civil infrastructure and transport projects.
- Proven knowledge of Australian Standards and a track record of applying technical knowledge when delivering projects.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills when dealing with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively at both an internal and external, client-facing level, developing new client relationships and maintaining existing networks within the business.
