The company's Water Infrastructure / Civil Team in Rockhampton is seeking an experienced Principal or Associate Director level Engineer who will drive the delivery of regionally significant infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will establish and build existing client relationships and have the opportunity to lead people.

This role offers a unique chance to collaborate with industry-renowned peers nationally across our organisation to create whole-of-business success. You will be part of a high-performing, close-knit regional team consisting of over 25 engineers, scientists, and designers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
  • Ensuring all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering on time and within budget for design projects.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.

We are looking for a future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth within a global organisation. You should have relevant tertiary qualifications and RPEQ/CPEng certification. Additionally, you should have experience in managing complex projects, meeting delivery requirements, and guiding and mentoring junior staff.
