Effective management of food services is crucial for a hospital’s success. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Patient Food Services team across three campuses.

  • Maintenance and embedding of policies and procedures, including food safety and departmental SOPs, are essential to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinating with supervisors and menu monitors to manage meal delivery systems, rosters, and staffing levels will be a key responsibility.
  • You will also organize training and skill development opportunities to enhance the performance of the team.

To excel in this role, you will require experience in hospital-based meal management systems, warehouse or supply chain systems, and knowledge of dietary and nutritional requirements and restrictions. Additionally, a sound understanding of food safety principles, including HACCP and food safety plans, is necessary.
