Senior Ecologist Role Summary">

We are seeking a skilled Senior Ecologist to join our team. As a senior ecologist, you will be responsible for leading ecological assessments and surveys, developing project plans, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead ecological assessments and surveys, including planning, coordinating field teams, and interpreting data.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality results, including reports and presentations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, government agencies, and fellow team members.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, botany, zoology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including accreditation under the SA Native Vegetation Act 1991.
  • Demonstrated experience in project managing medium and large-scale development and/or biodiversity projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience in preparing and reviewing reports.
  • Highly motivated with a strong team commitment.
