About the Role

This position is crucial to maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our restaurant environment. It involves ensuring the internal and external spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and staff.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining equipment to ensure it is well-functioning and the restaurant environment is secure from potential hazards.
  • Maintaining the restaurant carpark, patio, and all exterior equipment including bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables, and chairs.
  • Organising and cleaning the back area of the restaurant, including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
  • Complying with restaurant safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
  • Completing ad hoc maintenance tasks as requested by management.

Key Responsibilities Include Maintaining the overall appearance of the restaurant and its surroundings. Ensure that the restaurant is always tidy and clean.

What You'll Need
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • High organisational skills, with the ability to meet strict timelines.
  • Presentation is important, you should be well-groomed and friendly.
  • Ability to work early mornings to prepare the restaurant for trade.
  • Independently complete tasks such as mopping, scrubbing, climbing ladders, cleaning windows and toilets.
  • Confident in engaging with customers, suppliers or contractors, including handling difficult situations with individuals.
  • Able to hear and respond to various alerts and alarms.
  • Resilient and adaptable, bouncing back from challenges with a positive mindset.
  • A police check may be required if successful (applicants over 18 years only).
  • A valid right to work in Australia is required.
