About the Position

As a Project Engineer, you will oversee water infrastructure projects from planning to completion. Your experience with Sydney Water projects is advantageous, as you manage technical aspects, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate water infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with Sydney Water guidelines.
  • Conduct site inspections and manage quality control to ensure high-quality work.
  • Assist the Project Manager in budgeting, resource allocation, and project documentation.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain project timelines and resolve on-site issues.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for clients and senior management.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer, with exposure to water infrastructure projects, preferably with Sydney Water.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, water network standards, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
