Leadership Opportunity in Park Management

This is a leadership opportunity to lead and manage a team within the Parks Operations management team. The role involves delivering high-level presentation for the City's open spaces.

About the Role:
  • The successful applicant will oversee the overall operational management of the Council's open space service areas; leading, engaging, mentoring, and developing the team.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing maintenance and inspection schedules, project managing specialised maintenance and/or preparation of facilities, and assisting with the development and implementation of annual work programs and operational plans.
About You:
  • Applicants must hold relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III Horticulture / Green keeping / Agriculture or equivalent.
  • A current Class MR Driver's Licence and General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card) are also required.
  • Further requirements include holding Safe Work NSW Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP), AQF III Chemical Application Certificate, AQF Level 4 Chemical Risk Management Certificate, Chainsaw Certificate Crosscut / Felling, and substantial leadership experience with strong time management, planning, financial, and administrative skills, sound communication and interpersonal skills.
