Parks Operations Leader
">About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced leader to provide quality service delivery systems, processes and services in the establishment and maintenance of parks, gardens, reserves, and sportsgrounds.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team to deliver high-level presentation for the city's parks, gardens, reserves, open spaces, sportsgrounds, zoo and cemeteries.
- Oversee the operational management of open space service areas; lead, engage, mentor and develop the team.
- Develop and implement maintenance and inspection schedules; project manage specialised maintenance and/or preparation of facilities.
- Operate and maintain items of plant as required and undertake gardening duties as needed.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Horticulture / Green keeping / Agriculture.
- A valid MR Driver's Licence.
- General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
- AQF III Chemical Application Certificate.
- AQF Level 4 Chemical Risk Management Certificate.
- Chainsaw Certificate Crosscut / Felling.
- Substantial leadership experience with the ability to lead, engage, mentor, and develop a team.
- Strong time management, planning, financial and administrative skills.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
