Park Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to head our parks operations team. This role involves overseeing the overall operational management of open space service areas, leading and developing a team, and implementing maintenance schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery systems and processes are in place.
- Lead a team to deliver high-level presentation for the city's parks, gardens, reserves, open spaces, sportsgrounds, zoo, and cemeteries.
- Develop and implement maintenance and inspection schedules, project manage specialized maintenance and/or preparation of facilities.
- Operate and maintain items of plant as required and undertake gardening duties as needed.
- Minimum Certificate III in Horticulture / Green Keeping / Agriculture.
- Class MR Driver's Licence.
- General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
- SafeWork NSW Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP).
- AQF III Chemical Application Certificate.
- AQF Level 4 Chemical Risk Management Certificate.
- Chainsaw Certificate Crosscut / Felling.
- Substantial leadership experience with ability to lead, engage, mentor, and develop a team.
- Strong time management, planning, financial, and administrative skills.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week. As the Team Leader Parks Operations, you will work collaboratively to lead the team to deliver quality presentation and maintenance across the city's parks, gardens, reserves, open spaces, sportsgrounds, zoo, and cemeteries.
