Live Entertainment Event Operations Manager

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in live entertainment, managing events and venues with a focus on customer service and staff supervision.
- Key responsibilities include effective delivery of event plans, box office operations, bar management, cash handling, client hospitality, venue setups & turnarounds, cross event marketing, event staff briefings, conducting and supervising regular venue maintenance, upkeep and presentation of the venue.
The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience managing or supervising live entertainment venues, managing or supervising at a licensed premises with expertise and knowledge of events in live theatre, comedy and/or concert productions.
- Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and being able to problem-solve quickly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise staff and provide a high level of customer service.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
- Demonstrated ability running bar operations.
- A practical knowledge of Liquor Licensing Laws and Occupational Health and Safety.
- Current NSW driver's licence.
This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in work times, with evening and weekend shifts.
