About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Planning Manager to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning and controlling electrical projects from tender to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage tender programmes in Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project teams to optimize working programmes, meet project deadlines, and minimize delays.
  • Investigate opportunities to improve schedules, labour efficiencies, and environmental impacts.
  • Establish communication with site teams to receive weekly status updates and physical progress data.
  • Perform weekly updates of project schedules, communicate critical changes, and highlight potential delays.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical planning and project management, preferably with a Tier 1/2 contractor.
  • Renewable projects experience, particularly in larger-scale PV plants, is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in scheduling software systems, particularly Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • A sound understanding of project control processes, including critical path method and Earn Value system.
