Salary: $31.67-$33.09 per hour, plus super and additional benefits. Estimated Annual Salary: $64,000 - $69,000

Job Description

We are seeking experienced and compassionate caregivers to join our team in Newcastle. As a Home Care Employee, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Your role will involve:

  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Preparing meals and snacks;
  • Providing emotional support and companionship;
  • Assisting with mobility and transfer tasks;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

We offer flexible work arrangements, including part-time and full-time positions, to accommodate your needs and schedule.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated empathy and compassion towards our clients;
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team;
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid Australian driver's license;
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain);
  • Competent computer skills and ability to use smartphones or tablets.
