About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Coolum Beach. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
- Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
- Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of relief and comfort.
- Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and mobility issues.

Requirements
- 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
- Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help.
- Availability to work at least 3 days – Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
