Job Opportunity: Leading Curriculum Development

Curriculum leaders play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape. This esteemed position presents an exciting opportunity to drive excellence in teaching and learning across Mathematics, Science, and Technologies.

The ideal candidate will lead the development and delivery of curricula, ensuring alignment with school priorities while promoting high-quality instruction and student engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive leadership and oversight of curriculum development and delivery.
  • Driving excellence in teaching and learning by supporting faculty teams and promoting best practices.
  • Monitoring student behaviour patterns and wellbeing, offering targeted support for case-managed students.
  • Tracking and analysing senior student data to identify those at risk and designing interventions to ensure students remain on track.
  • Leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum programs with a deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Queensland Certificate of Education.
  • Strengthening partnerships with industry to equip learners for success.
  • Line managing VET delivery and overseeing engagement in vocational pathways.

Desirable teaching experience includes Mathematical Methods, Physics, and/or Chemistry. The successful applicant will possess exceptional leadership skills, a passion for education, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
