Risk Management Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Risk & Assurance team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and process safety, with experience working in a consulting environment.

About the Role

The Senior Advisor plays a key role in the development and mentoring of Graduates and Advisors. Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Providing innovative risk solutions to clients across various industries and markets
  • Leveraging internal and external relationships and contributing to business development activities within the team
  • Performing a range of risk assessments and techniques for clients

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in Engineering or Science related to process safety (Chemical, Mechanical preferred) or similar discipline
  • 5-10 years industry experience in a recognised consulting, chemical processing, heavy industry, transport, mining, corporate, or regulatory environment
  • Experience working in a risk, audit, governance, or compliance position
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; a proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Training in the use of specific risk software will be provided but previous experience in PHAST, SAFETI, @Risk, PHAPro is highly desired
